I've been making pots since 1991. I sat down at the wheel and I was instantly captivated by the motion, speed, and emotional highs and lows of the process.

I was a graphic designer at the time but I knew that eventually I would become a full time potter.  But graphic and interior design still figure strongly in my work, and the idea that each thing should be useful, even if in a purely visual way, is my credo.

My studio is located in Los Angeles (about a mile from the historic Farmer's Market) and boasts both gas and electric kilns and perhaps the best natural light anywhere.
